HPA Athletics is excited to have Coach George McCarroll join our Athletics staff. Please see his welcome message: I'm George W. McCarroll, Jr., and I'm thrilled to join and be part of the High Point Academy coaching staff as the new Head Coach for the Boys and Girls Track & Field Team. My background is Track & Field & Cross Country. I have over 40 years in coaching Track & Field & Cross Country. My passion is teaching youth to reach there potential through hardwork and dedication. My role as a coach is to teach self-esteem, character, passion, and getting to kids to understaing that they are champion. As a coach I help Bryson Miller with his endurance, strength and training to improve his 400 meter time from a 47.9 to 45.1. He was voted US#1 in the 400 meter run. He was invited to the Nike Relays in Settle, Washington. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and working together on an amazing team.

Welcome our "new" Head Soccer Coach, Casey Davis!

Coach Davis is returning to HPA after a few years away from the program. He was an NCAA Division II player at North Greenville University and has previously coached at Spartanburg High School, Broome High School, and was instrumental in starting our soccer program here at HPA.“I look forward to being back on the sidelines for the Grizzlies and continuing the growth of the program. There will definitely be some challenges in returning since we have moved up in regions, and it will take some time to evaluate our talent for the upcoming season as well as what we can build on for the future. But I am excited to face those opportunities with the team and staff we will have in place when the season begins.”
